It was only recently i discovered the language i spoke
at home was known as Bhojpuri!!! I have not met any
bhojpuri speaking people in the UK apart from a couple
of family friends.

I am looking for my roots, and I need some help from

My fathers grand father left India by schip( from
calcutta) and went to surinam (South-America) as
contracter in 1908 when he was 22 yrs old. He was living
in a village called "chacharia" that is
district from haiderbad. it's not only my grand father
but a 10000 of people left that time by schip. Those
where working on the plantage mostely very poor people
and was told to them that they are going to "Sri
Ram nagar" that was a lie.. that's why the name
Surinam.
I am writing below some information if you know this

Minister Basdeo Panday's relatives in 1997. I will like
